Titanium grade 2

Titanium is a strong yet lightweight metal. Titanium comes in different grades, of which grades 1 – 4 are commercially pure. Grade 2 titanium (Ti) is the second of the four grades of commercially pure titanium. Grade 2 is highly resistant to corrosion, even in pure chloride solutions up to 70°. Grade 2 titanium is also at least 40% stronger than grade 1. Its strength is similar to most austenitic types of stainless steel and is also highly weldable.
